Over the last several months, I’ve been making the pitch to various family members that we should spend this coming Thanksgiving someplace warm — ideally on an island — that’s an easy, non-stop flight from New York City. Since sales opened, we have seen a substantial interest with six reservations, including the sale of all four-bedroom residences.

Turks and Caicos' Newest Resort, Caribbean Journal
It’s been one of the hottest travel destinations in the Caribbean since the pandemic, and now Turks and Caicos is getting another major new luxury resort.
The new South Bank residential resort is opening its doors in “late 2023,” according to Grace Bay Resorts, which is managing the project.

Turks and Caicos, which has garnered notoriety in recent years as a favored retreat for the very rich and very famous, is a tropical Atlantic archipelago located 575 miles southeast of Miami and 75 miles north of the Dominican Republic. The area’s famed white-sand beaches lie along 100 named islands and cays, but only nine of those islands are inhabited. As the name suggests, the country is made up of two distinct groups of islands. The Turks are to the east; the Caicos in the west.

Arc sales launched, Robb Report
Arc at South Bank is now launching sales for its 17 residences. This six-story, low-density residential tower, designed by architect and designer Piero Lissoni, will house 17 luxury residences. The residences appear vertically “suspended” with a villa-style model. Thanks to the innovative architecture, the low-level tower’s residences appear to be floating.
